Favorite Movie: I don't necassrily have a favorite movie but I love musicals! Some of my favorites are "Mama Mia" (I love Abba!), "The Phantom of the Opera", and "Grease".

Dream Vacation: I'd love to visit the United Kingdom, Ireland, and travel through Europe!

Last meal on Earth: Oh Yes! I love food! This is a difficult choice! I guess it would be roast beef, mashed potatoes w/gravy, cooked asparagus, green beans w/bacon, homemade bread w/churned butter, and hot fudge cake w/vanilla ice cream. This is a combination of my favorites from memories of my Mom and Grandmother.

What superpower would you choose, why? This is a hard question! I think it would be interesting to transport to other places, near and far, without transporting in something. I love sight seeing along the way when I travel, but sometimes it would be nice to get to a destination instantaneously and have more time to visit family and friends, and places!

Favorite thing about your job: I love playing the old hymns and praise songs on the piano and organ. Playing the organ has been a challenge and growing experience! I also enjoy being with our Congregation family and friends. I feel so blessed!

More about Charla.... I live in Harrisonville with my husband Chris. We have two grown sons, Benjamin and Daniel. I am a retired Sherwood Cass R-8 music teacher, and after retiring, I substituted in area school districts until last year. I also teach piano lessons to students of all ages. I love being a member of Harrisonville United Methodist Women and Prayer Class and participating in their activities. I enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling.
